Goventra Gaming Welfare Council is a non-profit organization incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 and duly listed on the NITI Aayog DARPAN platform, Government of India. The organization operates as a national-level initiative and is also referred to as the Gaming Welfare Council of India for outreach and ecosystem awareness purposes.
The Gaming Welfare Council is an independent, non-profit initiative established to promote a structured, transparent, and responsible esports ecosystem in India. The Council works towards player welfare, awareness, governance frameworks, and ecosystem development across competitive gaming.
